Independently-practicing advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs)
(List of applicable APRNs is provided by Connecticut)
“Payment or other transfer of value” referring to exchange of anything of value, except the transfer of values made indirectly to an APRN via a 3rd party where the applicable manufacturer is not aware of the APRN’s identity, or meets the exclusion criteria set by CMS Open Payments.
Data points to be disclosed:
- Manufacturer name
- Contact person name
- Contact person email
- Contact person phone number
- Total value of payment to APRN
- Manufacturers of drugs
- Medical devices
- Biologics or medical supplies that come under the coverage of Medicare
- Medicaid or CHIP
Applicable manufacturers must be operating within U.S or a U.S territory.
Manufacturers do not have to report transfers of value that fulfill following criterion:
- Indirect spend to a third party where the manufacturer is not aware of the recipient’s identity.
Companies are required to email reports at [email protected] with a subject of “APRN Payment Report”.
An auto-response will be sent to the submitter’s email address that will serve as proof of submission.
